The trip to Edmonton was amazing! The fashion show was sooooo much fun. Annaliza and Trevor put on an amazing party! They worked their adorable little butts off and I was so happy to be a part of it. I got some video which I will try to edit and post soonish.
On Sunday I did a photo shoot for Parlour Magazine. They are going to be writing a feature on Melncoly for the SUMMER issue. I am so trilled to share the photos with you! They were taken by the adorable Ashley Armstrong. But you will have to wait till the magazine comes out.
The best thing about Edmonton is my beautiful and now very hyper niece, Ava resides there. She is just about to turn 4 on May 2nd. Posted below is a shot I took of her backstage at the fashion show. She is my sunshine.
As I was driving back to Calgary Sunday evening I enjoyed the trip along the “Great Nothing”. While observing the red sunset over the prairies I have grown to love and appreciate. There really is nothing like home.
I promise to post some photos from the KASHVENOMS fashion show at some time this week. Melncoly created jewelry exclusively for the fashion show. If anyone caught any shots of my jewelry please email them to me at info{at}melncolydesigns.com. I would so greatly appreciate it! They were mostly singular earrings either chain or teardrops, and also a chain earring/necklace that goes in one ear and connects to the other. There were also a few ones with pearls. They are very subtle. I made the collection the day of the show. They ended up working quite nicely with Annaliza’s collection, saying I hadn’t seen any of the work beforehand. We must have had the same vibes. I’ve been fighting a nasty cold so I’m gonna try to sleep it off. I have the most amazing friends that live in Edmonton! I love you all so much!
