How can I not post this amazing archival footage of one of my favorite bands on my blog… the shots are non stop liquid. I’ve been shooting a lot of super 8 footage lately so this really is such a treat for me.

Ex boyfriend is probably one of the worst words in the bad word book. Its just I don’t really know how else to introduce you to the man you all know as Buck 65. Him and I are old amigos.
If you don’t know already he has a daily radio show that airs on the Canadian Broadcast Corporation (CBC). Today was the first time I listened to Rich Terfry’s CBC Radio 2 show entitled Drive. I have recently decided to renovate my studio so while I was here this afternoon I decided to get out the old radio and have a listen. It’s been a few years since I have heard his voice. Honestly, he’s doing a great job. At this moment he’s talkin about Twin Peaks. His dry whit and even dryer humor is what makes this show. Whether it be him introducing Dolly Parton or Lee Hazlewood it is nice to have him back on the Canadian airwaves.
For Canadian listeners you can dial into your local CBC Radio 2 Broadcast and for International friends you can listen via live steaming…
It’s nice to hear your stories again Rich and welcome back home.
ps. I love the old CBC logo…

I am very surprised the mainstream media has not picked up on Cern. They would rather report doom and gloom. The people at Cern are doing exactly the opposite of what the Manhattan Project (collective who created the a bomb) was striving towards. We are living in extraordinary and wonderful times. Here is a recent release from Cern reiterating the safety of the LHC.
You can watch the Live webcast starting at 8:30 on Wednesday, September 10. 09/10/08
If you want to check out what time it will be happening on your location around the world you can calculate it here. This is exciting. For example it is happening at 1 AM Calgary time tonight.
Peace on earth. *miss meln
ps. I’m gonna bike to my local independent record shop and pick up Chad VanGaalen’s new album, Soft Airplane. He’s a local artist and animator. Here is one of his most recent animations…
