my sweet friend ola and i met up in new york.

ola took this while we were walking down eastern parkway on saturday october 11th… i think it is the most perfect holiday photo. :)

if you look closely i am holding my yashica super 8. i was shooting 8mm during the trip. heres a still of the film I shot at the of montreal show. kevin sung a ballad on the back of a white stallion named Amaretto at the roseland ballroom.

i drove up to banff today and bought some new moccasins for winter.

Central Park Shoot

We’ve been internet buddies for a while. We just happened to run into each other at the coffee shop in the quaint neighborhood of Bed Stuy Brooklyn where I was staying last week. Small world we live in I tell you. 

I’ve been a fan of Daniel’s photography for a while. He just recently moved to New York and is originally from Portland. He has a great blog on Urban Honking. Its called itwontfuckingkillyou.

SECRET PROJECT NEWS

Hi internet!

There was a film crew that came into Calgary this past Thursday from New York. They were here interviewing me for the new and exciting special secret project that is quickly approaching. I invited them over to hangout in my studio. I also took them on a special tour of all my favorite places around town. We went to the Ron Sexsmith concert Thursday night and we also checked out my new favorite local band called The Sub-linguals Friday night. They are off to the Rocky Mountains this afternoon.

The crew advised me the project will officially be launched on November 17 in the United States.
