TIM BURTON RETROSPECTIVE AT MOMA
November 17, 2009 · Leave a Comment
Sure Tim makes beautiful films but it is his drawings and early animations that I truly love. So it is nice to see that Moma is honoring him. I can’t wait to visit this show over the Christmas season while I am in New York.
The opening is taking place Wednesday, November 18 & the show runs from November 22, 2009–April 26, 2010. For further details go to the Moma site.

LEONID METEOR SHOWERS AS WE ENTER NEW MOON
November 17, 2009 · Leave a Comment
Star gazers are in paradise!
Over the next few days Earth will be passing through the Tempel-Tuttle Comet’s debris field. Since the current phase is the new moon, it provides the best view of the meteor shower for years to come. My friends and I are gonna drive to the outskirts of town tonight, pack up my telescope, drink some mulled wine and celebrate this cosmic phenomena. If you can’t get out of the city keep your eyes upward and on the constellation Leo*

WATER ON THE MOON!!!!!!!!!!
November 13, 2009 · 1 Comment
I’ve been following NASA’s Lunar Crater Observation and Sensing Satellite mission (LCROSS) for awhile now. I am pleased to tell you they found frozen water! It was a huge success. Which ultimately means our friendly neighbour can support life. Sign me up!
” A “significant amount” of frozen water has been found on the moon, the US space agency said Friday heralding a giant leap forward in space exploration and boosting hopes of a permanent lunar base “ To read the full article follow this link.

Calgary’s East Village and Riverwalk
November 10, 2009 · Leave a Comment
I am so excited! The city is finally going to start developing the area I call home. They have been working on the Riverwalk since summer. As a cyclist I am so pleased. You can watch the video here.
This is nothing in comparison to what the original plans for “The Paris of The Prairies” were, circa 1912… this would have been what we know now as Princes Island Park.

IM NOT GETTING SHOT

Here are some videos on the swine flu that I think are interesting. I always seek out alternative media. I do believe that this is one way the “Higher Powers” are trying to control our minds. What better way to scare us into believing that a pandemic will kill us when it is actually the vaccine itself.
Do the research! 30-35000 people a year die of the regular flu. Only 18,000 people have died from the swine flu. Not one mainstream media corp have picked this up.
Don’t give in, fear based society. The opposite of fear is love. and I love you.
